OUR PROJECTS
ACE Nursery and ACE Nursery 2
The Austin Community Enterprise Nursery based on Grange Avenue that caters for children from birth to 11 years. Started once as an After School Club in 1995 and since then we have developed into a nursery. We are the only Nursery in Derby to offer hourly care rate as opposed to sessional care. Any profits that we make from the nursery are placed back into the nursery or other projects on the estate.
We have recently opened the ACE Nursery 2, available for children aged 2 and 3. It is based at the Austin Neighbourhood Base on Browning Circle and if you eligible for 15 hours free childcare a week, as long as you fit the criteria.
If you interested please contact Tracey or Jenny via telephone or email if you would like more information please visit our new ACE nursery website.

National Citizenship Scheme
Over the summer and half term holidays in 2013 we hosted a number of groups of young people who were taking part in the National Citizenship Scheme. The scheme is designed for 16-17 year olds and to offer them a once in a lifetime experience. Last year two groups adopted us as their charity and raised over £500 for our funds.
We are hoping to continue NCS in 2014. Please contact us if you have any ideas about the projects.
